Photographing newborns will forever be one of my favorite things. I love the in home lifestyle approach for many reasons, but mainly because it shows the families bond will real moments, real emotion as they love on their new baby in their home. By me coming into their home, it makes the process so easy on a new mom and dad. Sometimes leaving the house with a newborn sounds pretty daunting. (Am I right??)
After working with Laura & Dustin for their maternity session it was such a joy to see them again and their new baby girl, Savannah. Their nursery was decorated so beautifully, from the soft tones of pink to the gorgeous crib it made for the most beautiful photos as they admired they baby girl. We also took a few photos in their guest bedroom that was decorated so beautifully as well.
When I arrive for your newborn session, I will take a look around and see where the best natural light is. Good light = good photos. I’ve used bedrooms, hallways, family rooms, staircases and even kitchens. What I love about photographing in a home is the bast amount of opportunities we have for real and organic images.
