There’s something pretty special about a Colorado senior session, especially when you combine golden light, dramatic red rocks, mountain views, and a senior who is completely herself.
For Peyton’s senior session, we headed to South Valley Park in Ken Caryl, Colorado, and it was the perfect location for her senior portraits. With sweeping views, iconic Colorado red rocks, open fields, and plenty of variety within one location, South Valley Park gave us everything we needed to create a senior gallery that feels both adventurous and timeless.

Peyton’s session featured the incredible red rock formations that make this area so recognizable, along with beautiful views across the foothills. The landscape gave us so many different backdrops without having to spend the entire session driving from location to location. That variety is one of my favorite things about photographing seniors at South Valley Park. We can create portraits with dramatic rock formations, softer natural landscapes, open skies, and mountain views all during the same session.And the result?
