Yuli & Joe’s engagement at Brainard Lake, Colorado was stunning- I mean you really can’t go wrong with a location like this. Normally there is a road that takes you strait to the lake, however it is closed during the winter & spring and hadn’t quite opening up yet so we were all down for the 2.5 miles hike there! Being that the lake is only hike-able right now we pretty much had the place to ourself! With the recent Covid closures in other areas of Boulder, Colorado and Rocky Mountain National Park among others some of my normal “go-tos” are out so it’s given us a place to explore some new areas and boy am I glad I’ve discovered some new spots! The place was empty, as we were not trying to dodge bystanders or feeling awkward posing in front of strangers. From the snow capped mountain views to the crystal clear lake it was an absolutely incredible place for their Colorado engagement session.
They both love the Colorado outdoors so this adventure engagement session was about perfect for them. After meeting in college in Wisconsin then doing a short stent in Florida, they both relocated to Colorado. Yuli, for a masters program and Joe for a job. With lots of land and mountains to explore, Colorado is just the place to call home.
