Jessica & Ken I Downtown Denver Engagement

Jessica & Ken

Downtown Denver Engagement

I have been looking forward to Jessica & Ken’s engagement session what felt like all spring, because that’s exactly what happened!  Covid unfortunately hit Colorado (like everywhere else) which had to put a lot of things on hold.  A few rescheduled dates later and we finally got to get to know each other a little better over an engagement session.

Although,  I’m pretty sure it was worth the wait.

Being that the stay at home orders had just lifted we pretty much had the city to ourself (on a Saturday night).  Which I’m sure is pretty unheard of.  Plenty of room to get the best views without a person in sight, a little bit of cloud cover which is music to my ears in photography land.  If you didn’t know, just a little bit of clouds on a sunny say diffuses the harsh light just enough to make your skin glow perfectly and your eyes not squint from the sun.  Aside from the empty streets, Downtown had some gorgeous blooming trees and lush flowers to make their photos pop even that much more!

Jessica & Ken will get married at Copper Mountain later this summer which will be so fitting for them as they both love to explore the outdoors of Colorado and all the beauty it has to offer.  There is something so special about summer mountain weddings in Colorado and I am just so excited to tell their story!
