I'm Crystal, a 30-something photographer that chose photography as her second career. Sunshine, family & relationships are a few of my favorite things. Being your wedding photographer is something that I do not take lightly. As a professional (and an additional bridesmaid) I'm here for every step of the way. Engagement planning, vendor shopping & everything in-between I'm here to serve you and add value to the experience as a professional in the industry and a past bride myself. Aside from all that fun talk, I have a candid & organic approach to capture you in your natural element while still getting you the traditional shots your parents want. I keep up with all the industry trends but constantly investing in only the best equipment & doing continuing education yearly. I reside in Colorado as a native so I'm so excited to join you on this experience. Summer or Winter, Colorado is a beautiful & magical place and I cannot wait to tell your story.
Many of my couples are attracted to Rocky Mountain imagery in the same way they are attracted to the Rocky Mountains. A sense of calmness in a place to beautiful. They want their love to be celebrated and documenting in a way that mirrors the beauty of the mountains. As a Colorado native, I lead the way to create timeless images that feel natural and organic so you can enjoy your day the way you intended it to.

Crystal is so much more than a wedding photographer, choosing Crystal for your wedding means that you will have an amazing friend for life & absolutely gorgeous photos to remember all life's special moments.
Nothing relaxes you quit like mountain views, crisp mountain air away from the city. As a Colorado native nothing quite brings me a sense of calm like being in the land where the air is a bit more clear and the land is a little more wide.
Part of me is a huge home body. Homeownership is one of the funnest things my husband and I share in our marriage and we constantly love doing updates, rather that be a new tree in our yard or our current very large project or finishing our basement. Lucky for me, my husband always goes along with my crazy ideas.
While we love everything Colorado has to offer, we love escaping to the beach or a new town we've never been to enjoy eachother. We rarely vacation to cities and prefer relaxing mountaintops or beaches.
I'm a true believer that there no such thing as too much coffee. There are these magical humans in this world, I call them baristas.
IF I HAD TO DESCRIBE THIS BUSINESS IN THREE WORDS, THEY WOULD BE ELEVATED, ORGANIC & JOYFILLED

I often get asked WHY I started doing photography. Aside from taking super awesome pictures in super awesome places. Well, growing up there were photos all over our home. Every wall, a huge album dedicated to every year. In fact, in many ways...those all reminders of the moments in our lives we were so incredibly thankful for. You see, when I was a child my neighbors and classmates would spend their days after school running around having fun. But, having a brother that battled childhood cancer, well my life was much different from others. But growing up? Those photos...they were everything to us. Because even on the darkest days those images in our home brought us so much joy in a time when we could have focused on so much sadness. Why am I telling you this? Even past your marriage life throws you curve balls. Things you never though would happen. These images? These albums? That cell phone lock screen? They will remind you of why you got married. The core of why you started a family. And that is what I give to my couples, a light and reminder of something that is always there for them. It's not only about showing up and being a photographer. It's about providing you an experience as you enter this season of your life & giving your first family heirloom. As my brother was battling cancer, albums & prints surrounded our home reminding us of the foundation of our family which walked us through such a dark time.
