If you are reading this, well welcome to my blog! I’m so happy that you are here [insert heart eye emoji].
I’ve been running this business for the past few years all while maintaining a full time job and a family. That’s a lot a work! Adding one more thing to my plate; blogging my work felt nearly impossible. I tried to do it all, I tried to be a good employee, friend, daughter, wife, photographer and business owner. It got HARD. I didn’t want to compromise slower turnaround times (my clients don’t deserve that), less family time (my family didn’t deserve that), doing less quality work at my job (my boss didn’t deserve that). So what did I do? I took a leap of faith and followed my dreams and quit my day job, to pursue my business as my full time career. Be able to invest more time into my family, my business, my clients. There were SO many more ideas I had running though my head; us creatives always have wild ideas! I could finally do them! I could finally respond to e-mail nearly immediately, I could finally invest my whole undivided attention into my clients, my business means everything to me and my clients deserve the very best!
I’m so excited to be able to share more of my professional life with all of my amazing friends, family, clients and supporters- y’ll mean the world to me!
To start here’s a few things you may not know about me:
- I’ve always been fascinated with photography, when my mom had her camera when I was 3-4 years old (old school film camera) I would always ask, “Can I see! Can I see, let me put my eye in it!”
- When my was in High School I took a few photography classes, took a camera everywhere I went. I was always “the one with the camera”, however I never thought of it as a career at that point.
- At one point I wanted to be a Wedding Planner; which I act as at some weddings! I am truly passionate about making your day run smoothly and flawless.
- When I’m not behind my camera you can find me making farmhouse style upgrades to my home (any Joanna Gains fans here), traveling to the beach or overdosing on Iced Coffee.
I have a calendar full of blog content I am very excited to share with you in 2019 including my work, tips and tricks and a little about my personal life and love for traveling.
Cheers to 2019- thanks for stopping by!
