Welcome to the blog! Read all about my recent lovers & mothers in the Rocky Mountains, my destination work and a little about me.
Sometimes couples I shoot are full of adventure and excitement- and Mikayla & Sam were just it! When we showed up to a frozen over lake, snow packed trails and 15 degree temps we knew it wasn’t going to comfortable to say the least.
They held hands through snow packed trails, under tall Colorado trees, next to a frozen over lake. Sam wrapped Mikayla’s cold shivering body in his arms as I told them to go in for a kiss. You know, YOU COULDN’T TELL- their love is SO fierce, even being uncomfortable and cold they will looked flawless and their love still shined like it was a 80 degree day. It was like the day the first tell in love, or the day they will get married. That’s the thing about love; it doesn’t matter what the circumstance is.
LOVE IS LOVE
That’s why I loooove what I do. I get to tell a love story through images; you want to look back on this special day and you won’t remember that you weren’t cold, you will look at these images and remember why you laugh and look at each other they way you do. Look at how happy you were to have a rock on your finger, to be planning your wedding and to be starting a family with the love of your life.
This is why I love shooting engagement sessions; telling this story, watching this story. I love, LOVE. (If that makes any sense)
Congrats to Mikayla and Sam! Happy wedding planning.
Mikayla and Sam will be wed on November 1st, 2019 at Ellis Ranch in Colorado.
Xo Lots of Love,
Crystal
