Chautauqua Spring Engagement Session Boulder, Colorado

Chautauqua Park Engagement Session

Boulder, Colorado

We settled on Chautauqua Park for Anna & Neil’s engagement session which is a very popular location to shoot in Colorado, I’m there at least once a month and it always on my quick list as you can’t deny those stunning views.  Summer, Spring, Winter or Fall it never disappoints!  However Anna & Neil have a special place in their hearts for this location and it makes me want to tear up thinking about how special it really is to them and they will have these images in their home to serve as a reminder, of their love and this exciting season of their life (planning their wedding)

Not only is Boulder, Colorado Anna’s hometown, a place so special to her.  Their flatirons will always serve a reminder of home, however this place goes a little deeper for them.

Living in Colorado, most of us like to do the usual Colorado things, such as Biking, Hiking, Skiing, Climbing, etc.  It’s not uncommon to hear a story of a Colorado engagement to take place on time of a 14er, or at the base of snow covered mountain.  Wanna know the deets?

Okay… that very mountain behind them, the boulder flatiron Neil purposed as they were harassed in climbing up it…yes my jaw hit the floor when I heard the story too!  Too add to this amazing story, you know you have got your self a good one when your future husband purposes climbing a mountain at a location that is so iconic to you.  The icing on the cake, her ring is stunning.  Diamonds surrounded with sapphire’s which just happens to be her birthstone and the month they will marry.

So…Chautauqua was the obvious choice when it came to choosing their location for their engagement session.

Also, if you’ve ever wondered how I feel about brining your dog.  The answer is always YES.  I can’t even with their labradoodle, Leo.
