COTTON CANDY SUNSET ENGAGEMENT

MEAGHAN + KYLE

Blessed with the most perfect light, ever.

After you book your wedding with me, the communication begins with some engagement session planning.  You will receive all sorts of tips and tricks to make the most of your session.  From years of experience I know exactly what makes the session.  Simple things like, be comfortable, light colors, non distracting patterns, save the best for last and shoot after sunrise or before sunset.  You can’t get these skies and golden hues in the middle of the day.

Start with something casual

Starting with something casual and comfortable makes you feel you and warms you up for the session- no one is good and this and a posing pro (I promise you this) so being comfy and casual helps make you feel at home and forget that I’m there as you warm up to the posing cues and the awkward feeling goes away.

Save the best for last

I always recommend saving the best for last- why?!  Well if you are planning a show stopping dress, you want to be photographed in it in the best possible light.  The time in the night when that golden light touches the ground you and backlights you into being a golden beautiful goddess.

Props!

Don’t be afraid to bring props- a stunning bouquet to add a little color pop, a bottle of champagne to pop or some beers to cheers with.  Whatever feels like you, just do it!

Meaghan & Kyle absolutely killed their engagement session!  From perfect light to their show stopping love it made me so much more excited to shoot their summer wedding in 2020!
