Dusty Blue and Pale Pink Colorado Farm Wedding

A MATCH FROM THE VERY START

I first met Jordan, while photographing her cousin Colette’s wedding (that she was a bridesmaid in) in June 0f 2018.  After doing a few sessions with her and running into her at our local grocery store and neighborhood eateries countless times (we live in the same area) throughout her engagement planning process it wasn’t long that she started to feel like a lifelong friend.   Not like we needed another reason to connect us together after going back and fourth with her venue on a few dates they finally settled on May 26th, 2019.  This is an especially important date to me, as that was the same date that I married my husband 5 years ago.  Some of you may think, “Wow you photographed a wedding on your anniversary?”  Why yes!  There is nothing I love more than photographing and celebrating love.  As this falls on Memorial weekend, it typically is a very heavy work weekend for me so we usually find our own time to celebrate the milestones in my own marriage.

BEAUTIFUL DETAILS FOR A BEAUTIFUL BRIDE

I’m a big sucker for florals and light colors, they just photograph so nicely!  If you are looking for light and airy images, I suggest sticking with muted and light tones just like Jordan chose to do.   The pink and blue went so nicely together, from her details her lavish desert table it just worked so well and was absolutely perfect for her may wedding.

MAMA

Jordan & Garett have an almost 3 year old little boy, Lucas which is obviously the light of everyones life.   From his Mom, Dad, aunts, uncles and grandparents he got plenty of attention.  As, his adorable blue bow tie and suspenders weren’t enough, as he saw his mommy coming down the aisle to Daddy, he yelled out “Mama”.  To top the cake, when Mom and Dad we’re crying as they read their heartfelt vows to each other he went over to check if they were ok….I mean I can’t!  You could hear the audience weep as a whole at that moment.

TEARS KEPT ON COMING

As the night went on, heartfelt speeches, tearful dances I felt as I was part of their family which is what I love the very most about my job.
