March in Colorado can go 1 of 2 ways. We could be in a massive blizzard (like we were exactly one week before this session) or it can be beautiful. We were so lucky with no wind, a blue sky and nice weather. I’m always so excited when I get to shoot here because no matter what time of year it is, summer, winter, fall or spring those stunning flatirons never disappoint, unlike some other parts of Denver it can just be dull and brown from November- April. From the open fields to stunning backdrop you can really never go wrong! However, if we are going to shoot here I highly suggest shooting at sunset, not only because as the sunsets behind the flatirons it can be pure magic (ya…know the kind of magic how Alecia smiles with Andrew looks at her) but there is no shade, and harsh light is your photographers worst enemy!
Alecia and Andrew were just so easy to work with, dressed in beautiful light spring colors- the kind that photographs magically! Followed all my posing suggestions like a dream. I am just so excited for their mountain fall wedding this October! Thank you for choosing me Alecia & Andrew I about cried when you told me that you chose me because you “felt something” when look at my pictures! That is my goal, anyone can take photos I want my images that can bring you back to a feeling. The feeling of how giddy you felt during your engagement session, the feeling you married your husband, the feeling of emotion when your Mom looked at you when you got in your wedding dress, the feeling of becoming a Mom, the feeling of being a Senior and approaching your senior year, this is why I do what I do and I am so passionate about this part of my business.
Big hugs and lots of love,
