Samantha + David I Colorado Winter Wonderland Wedding I Westminster, Colorado

filed in

Samantha and David were set up by mutual friends.  They both apparently had the first date jitters over coffee (or maybe a little too much caffeine).  Sam couldn’t think of anything to say, yet David couldn’t stop talking.   In the coming weeks they had second, third, fourth and fifth dates which lead to a long distance relationship while Sam finished up her degree as a CSU Ram.

After three years of dating over an hour away from each other.  Samantha returned to her hometown where David lived to continue their love story.   They could do more of what they love to do this this beautiful state; hiking, jeeping, brewering; hey that’s not a word but something us Colorado-ians love to do.   Just a casual day hiking on a Sunday in June (not out of the norm for them) they stopped along their hike to take a photo and to Sam’s surprise David was asking her to be his wife! It was only fitting that we did their engagement session in Idaho Springs at Echo Lake.

This day was full of love and laughter from family; stunning Morilee bridesmaid dresses, a perfectly designed winter cake from Cakes Elevated, stunning florals, a beautiful nature theme paired with hints of copper, pinecones, lanterns, and even some adorable flannels apposed to the classic robes.   This wedding screamed Colorado, but still classic and timelines.

All these details were almost as stunning as Samantha looked

Or…how David looked at Sam.

They had the most fun bridal party that kept the party and LOVE going all day long…

After bridal party portraits the bridesmaids “Iced the guys” which was a huge laugh!  If you don’t know what “icing” is…well….

We also can’t forget about their stunning indoor ceremony.  David couldn’t wait to see his bride, and well again I can’t blame him.  She looked flawless.

Of course the fun didn’t let up for the reception, from the emotional and heart felt dances toast to the Spice Girls, Brittney Spears and Selena dance breaks outs were were all having the time of our life.  (Myself included)

Much love!  This was a this was a great start to 2019.  I have fallen in love with winter weddings.  Congrats, newlyweds!

I am so thankful you chose me.
